Summer Lyn Glau is an American actress and dancer, known for playing River Tam in the science fiction series Firefly and follow-up movie Serenity, and for playing Cameron in the series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Some things just don’t last long enough – a first kiss, or maybe a really juicy burger. For sc-fi fans that one thing was Firefly. Created by Joss Whedon of Buffy fame, it was a slice of sci-fi perfection not least because it involved Miss Glau as a hard-as-nails child prodigy who loved a ruck.
Despite its cancellation, the 27-year-old Texan’s skill with a roundhouse set her up to take the role of a sexy terminator in The Sarah Connor Chronicles. And despite fans' efforts, Fox have also now canned this leaving our lecherous minds with a disconcerting Summer Glau-sized void.
